Data Modeling & Data Mapping
- Review the future Customer Information System's data model in order to assure the
fulfillment of the business requirements. Coordinate and participate in the analysis, and data mapping of Customer Information System and its interfaces using Mercator as the
middleware. The "to be" Customer Information System is a SPL product called CorDaptix. Organize and facilitate meetings for solving issues. Design and manage a
central repository using Access database for storing all the interface data mapping information.

|
Jan 2000 - Aug 2000
|
Data Analysis and Conversion
- Migrated the data from the legacy system into the Customer Relationship Management
System (Siebel). The process required analyzing, converting, and cleansing the data before loading, and at end, validating it for accuracy. Access, Excel, Outlook, Siebel,
SQL and Oracle databases were used for this purpose.

Mar 1997 - Jan 2000
|
Workflow Development
- Developed workflows (process models) for PeopleSoft Human Resources products using
the PeopleSoft Tools Business Process Designer and Visio. The approach was functional analysis of the HR products and creation of the workflow process models. The
process models were developed based on Swimlane methodology and illustrated the business roles, processes, decisions, and reports.
|
|
Data Modeling
- Developed the data models for PeopleSoft Human Resources products using Information
Engineering Methodology and the Select SE CASE tool. The approach was Reverse Engineering the PeopleSoft database into a repository. Create data modelsā subject
areas and validate the accuracy of the entity relationships in the model using the PeopleSoft Tools. Review the data models with the development team.

|
Data Modeling
- Developed an integrated enterprise data model for the organization, using Information
Engineering Methodology and Sterling (Key Model) CASE Tool. The approach was to analyze company's major systems and to reverse engineer their data to the integrated
enterprise data model. Provided an issue list for further discussion and resolution.

Data Modeling/Process Modeling/Business Analysis
- Developed a logical data model from a physical data model for Rating System. The data
model waas required to integrate entities accessed in this application from the Health Plan systems and fulfill the new business requirements. Gathered the new business
requirements. Analyzed and documented the data issues between the legacy and future systems for data conversion purposes. Wrote stored procedures for Sybase database on a Unix platform.
- Participated in re-engineering the health plan business areas of Northern and Southern
California regions. In phase one, developed a logical data model (ERD) and activity hierarchy (AHD) for products, contracts, membership, and finance business areas using
Information Engineering Methodology and IEF CASE Tool. In phase two, detailed and fully attributed subject areas of the logical data model.
- Participated in the business analysis, and design of an Individual Marketing and Review
system utilizing Information Engineering Facility CASE Tool. Documented business requirements and developed Process model and Data Dependency diagram for this effort.
- Participated in data modeling and prepared Activity Hierarchy diagram using IEF CASE
Tool for Health Care Dues Membership and Finance business areas.
- Analyzed and documented business requirements for Membership Accounting business
area in order to develop a new Revenue system that included cash allocation, membership dues receivable, and dues delinquency functions. Developed high-level feasibility design for cash allocation module.
|
|
Business System Implementation
- Participated in development of a regional Health Plan systems, Product s and Benefits.
Prepared business scenarios, process logic analysis (PLA), and event diagrams. Developed system prototypes. Coded and tested Client/Server procedures (PrADs),
PADs, and CABs. Prepared test plans for unit and integration testing. The application used Information Engineering Facility (IEF) 5.3, GUI, and Client/Server.
